The Power of Maps Conference
This conference will be held at the National Library of Australia, Canberra, from Wed 29 April – Fri 1 May, 2015
Professor Georg GARTNER, President, International Cartographic Association, Dr. Chris PIGRAM, CEO, Geoscience Australia, Mr. Kent LEE, President & CEO, Eastview Geospatial and Mr. KHIN Maung Maung, Geocomp International (Melbourne) will be the keynote speakers.

The organizing committee expects up to 100 delegates to attend the conference.
If possible could you do one, or more, of the following please:

  1. Post the attached flyer on the notice board at your work.
  2. Plan to attend the conference and encourage others to attend.
  3. Submit an abstract by January 1st (see flyer for ‘Call for Papers’ details)
  4. Offer to contribute an item for the conference bag, such as a map, pen, mouse pad, notepad, usb stick or other item which promotes your company.
If your organisation was willing to sponsor the purchase of the conference bags, printed with your company logo, then that would be a fantastic contribution. (Initial investigation indicates each conference bag, with one colour print, would cost ~$2.50)
