  • 21 Apr 2016
  • 08:30 - 21:00
  • Tracey Village Social and Sports Club Cnr. Tambling Tce & Henbury Avenue, Wanguri

This special event will bring together the various spatial disciplines with Emergency Management and Response personnel. The aim of this forum is to provide Surveyors, Spatial Scientists and related professionals the opportunity to demonstrate capability and best practice business models, including new data acquisition technologies, existing data services, software solutions within the context of emergency management and response. Organisations and professionals from the emergency services sector are also invited to share insights with the spatial community through presentations on areas such as governance frameworks, operational protocols, case studies, information requirements, logistics, organisational development and more.

This forum follows a field event held at Freds Pass Reserve on Friday 26th February, where NTPFES conducted a Rapid Damage Assessment exercise, together with various local surveying and remote sensing experts who conducted drone/UAV data acquisition. Stories and lessons learnt from that day will also be presented at this forum.
