ENGINEERING AND MINE SURVEYING COMMISSION

The SSSI Engineering and Mine Surveying Commission Seminar will be offered to a limited number of delegates. 

The Seminar commences in The Curtin HIVE. 

The HIVE  (Hub for Immersive Visualisation and eResearch) is an advanced facility established by Curtin University to serve the growing demands of researchers and industry for visualisation, virtualisation and simulation capabilities in Western Australia.

Presentations in the HIVE by:

  • Adam Lowry (3D at Depth) – Visualising 3D Subsea LiDAR Data from the Ocean Depths
  • Andrew Squelch (WA School of Mines) – Developing Realistic Interactive 3D Mine Visualisation (a case study)

Followed by presentations in the Department of Spatial Sciences (Room 207.201) by:

  • Geoff Robb (RM Surveys) – TBA
  • Dennis Odijk (Curtin Dept of Spatial Sciences)

Delegates are then invited to share a networking and social get together with colleagues and guests.
