New Zealand region of the AHS annual seminar will be held at Te Kura Kairūri, the National School of Surveying at the University of Otago in Dunedin.
The seminar will align closely with the World Hydrographic Day (WHD) and will feature presentations from Government, industry, Defence and academia focused around the WHD theme of “Mapping our seas, oceans and waterways - more important than ever”.
In conjunction with the seminar, planning is underway to include a tour along Otago Harbour and a visit to the Maritime Museum at Port Chalmers. This will be followed by the Seminar and then the NZR’s AGM. An informal dinner will be arranged in the evening.
