World Hydrography Day 2023 Seminar

INVITATION & CALL FOR SPONSORS AND PRESENTERS

The Society’s SW Pacific Region invites those who have an interest in hydrography and related maritime disciplines to attend the World Hydrography Day 2023 Seminar and calls for presenters and sponsors.

The two-day seminar will be held jointly with the Fiji Hydrographic Office during 22-23 June 2023 from 09:00am - 4:00pm at the Moana Anglican Services and Teaching (MAST) Centre, 7-11 Des Voeux Road, Suva, Fiji.

The theme for WHD 2023 is:

"Hydrography - contributing to the United Nations Ocean Decade".

After a two-year break due to pandemic and related travel issues, this event will allow the opportunity to continue the networking and sharing of hydrospatial knowledge within the inter-regional hub of the SW Pacific, plus provide presentations/discussion on hydrography and other related areas. The presentations will also highlight the empowerment of women within the field of hydrography.

Registration is free -but registrations must be obtained by close of business, Tuesday, 20 June 2023, as seats are strictly limited.
