Cath Lyons, General Manager - Westport: Westport is the West Australian State Government’s long-term program to investigate, plan and build a future port in Kwinana with integrated road and rail transport networks. Cath Lyons will present an overview of Westport (Stage 3). Specifically, the goals and objectives of Stage 3, the different streams of work that are running and some of the individual projects.

Phil Wells, Technical Manager - Survey & Inspection, MMA Offshore: Phil will address the growth we are seeing in the industry across multiple sectors (HIPP, Offshore wind, infrastructure, science/research and continued production drilling). There is a critical need to attract people to our industry. There exists significant pressure/recruitment from mining and engineering sectors for students to pursue those areas.  Hydrographic companies need to support student engagement to secure the next generation.
